A CHALLENGE
Three hundred years ago when women were powerless, when no native of a colony would ever dream of bold initiatives, a simple woman Ignacia del Espiritu Santo broke the mold.
She challenged the Society and the Church of her time and guided by the Spirit, opened new paths on Philippines soil. Three hundred years later, the challenge remains as vital and vibrant as ever.
How can we, each of us, men and women alike imitate her courage? What can we, men and women alike do to challenge the Society and the Church of our time?
